Moving my family out of that room was urgent due to the overwhelming smell of smoke in a non-smoking room, particularly challenging for my wife's asthma. The lack of essential amenities like a television and working phone made multiple trips to the front desk necessary, even in pouring rain. Both rooms reeked of smoke, with broken and overdue beds adding to the discomfort.
